SHEILA’S NOTEBOOK
My Life Is Full. That Does Not Mean Everything Is Urgent.
At 52, I’m starting school at St. Leo, and I can already feel myself trying to live the whole semester before the first class begins. A full life can make every responsibility feel urgent, but not everything belongs to today. I’m learning to take the next right step, stay present with the people I love, and let today be enough.

A LITTLE FROM MY LIFE
Some of the most important moments on my calendar never make it onto my calendar.
This weekend, that looked like sitting between Cade and Seth, watching the Gators play, laughing, and enjoying the kind of ordinary family moment that makes a full life worth having.
And yes, the Gators won.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We honor survivors, remember lives lost, and stand with anyone still seeking safety.
The Faith Based Fitness Bus helps people affected by abuse, trafficking, or abandonment rebuild strength, confidence, and hope through faith and community.

A THOUGHT FOR YOUR WEEK

Before Monday begins, ask yourself:
• What truly needs my attention now?
• What can wait without guilt?
• What am I carrying that belongs to someone else?
You do not have to solve the entire week today. Choose the next right thing, make room for the people you love, and let that be enough.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” — Matthew 6:34

LET’S TALK

What have you been treating like an emergency that can actually wait? Hit reply and tell me. Sometimes naming it is the first step toward releasing it.

With love,
Sheila
